- Alastair has worked in school estates management for 10 years. Initially this was in the independent sector at Truro School and Truro Preparatory Schools. More recently this has been with the Aspire Academy Trust overseeing 28 schools in Cornwall
- Within these roles he has overseen several multi-million pound build projects, major change projects and implementation of CAFM systems
- He has also delivered a series of training courses nationally to estates managers
- In previous roles Alastair has:
- Worked in the leisure industry, specialising in the development and opening of new outlets
- Managed a renewable energy education centre where he built up a good understanding of renewable technologies
- Set up a division within a social housing organisation to deliver planned maintenance across 6000 social houses
