2/ Procuring Estate and Construction Management Professional Services
Matt Roberts – MAC Construction Consultants
What the session covers:
- There is an increasing requirement for estate and construction management support in schools with the recent focus on the quality and condition of the school estate. GEMS highlights the need to ‘have the right skills in place’ to manage estate projects but the range of professional services needed to successfully prioritise, design, manage and deliver capital projects can be complex to navigate and procure.
- The webinar will focus on the types of professional services that may be needed to support a project, categorise these into core and specialist services, how these fit with the project lifecycle, their definition and specification, and how to procure these using the quality and cost parameters that you have set.
