The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015) are the main set of regulations for managing health, safety and welfare on construction projects. and applies to all building and construction work (including new build, demolition, refurbishment, extensions, conversions, repair and maintenance. CDM 2015 regulations place an emphasis on the role of the client in maintaining the health and safety of construction sites, and it is important for clients to appoint the right professionals and ensure all relevant parties are working together to achieve a safe environment.
