James has a strong technical background, with many years’ experience of supporting ICT programmes in education and supporting the delivery and scrutiny of capital building programmes for the Department for Education (DfE).
As a member of the OAT executive team, James is responsible for directing the work of the estates, ICT, procurement and data protection teams, who work across the organisation and focus on supporting the trust to deliver its strategy and provide the best resources possible for pupils and staff.
James is responsible for OAT’s facilities management and building life-cycling strategy to develop and maintain a £1b+ estate and driving best value from purchasing goods.
